Objective:
The inspiring project by TexBoost - Less Commodities more Specialities - is a structuring project from Cluster Textile: Technology and Fashion, whose objective is to bring together a series of R&D initiatives with a strong collective character and elevated driving and demonstrating effect, with the central involvement of companies from the Textile and Clothing sectors, as well as from other related sectors.
The leading promoter is RIOPELE, with technical coordination from CITEVE, and is structured in 5 technical PPS (Products, Processes and Services) which seek to develop innovative solutions in different areas and a management PPS.

Expected activities and results:

TexBoost is organised in 6 PPSs (one of which is management, promotion and use of results) made up of 50 nuclear activities, of which there will be 17 new solutions.

The main activities of the project are:

  • To develop a new generation of textile solutions, in which the level of innovation is radical in the face of existing products (State of the Art analysis), including the generation of new scientific know-how.   
  • To develop highly innovative products and processes, using cutting-edge emerging technologies which will grant new experiences to consumers and to companies that participate in each PPS.
  • To facilitate access to new markets / business areas for companies involved or strengthening current markets/ business areas, both at a national and international level.
