Purpose:
The mobilising project STVgoDigital - Digitalisation of the STV value chain is a structuring project of the Textile Cluster: Technology and Fashion, which aims to encompass several highly collective R&D initiatives with a high inductive and demonstrative effect, involving companies in the Textile and Clothing sector, and other complementary industries that enhance the adoption and transition to the new paradigm of Industry 4.0. The project is aligned with one of the strategic pillars of the Textile Cluster: Technology and Fashion - Industry 4.0 and Digitalisation.
Its lead developer is TMG - Tecidos para Vestuário e Decoração, S.A., under the technical coordination of CITEVE, and is structured in 5 technical PPS (Products, Processes and Services) expected to develop innovative solutions in different areas and a management PPS.

Activities and expected results:
STVgoDigital is organised in 6 PPSs (one of which is for management, dissemination and exploitation of results) built from 7 core activities, resulting in 9 new solutions.
The main project activities are:
- To promote the transition to Industry 4.0 and the entire value chain, boosting the digitalisation of the entire business chain to increase the productivity and efficiency of each company and the whole supply chain making them more transparent, agile and flexible.
- To boost the digital transformation of the STV by stimulating the adoption of technologies inherent to Industry 4.0, raising the productivity and efficiency of each company and the entire supply chain, making the Portuguese sector an international benchmark.
- To develop highly innovative products and processes, using emerging and cutting-edge technologies that will enable new experiences for consumers and companies participating in each PPS.
- To facilitate the companies' access to new markets/business areas or the strengthening of current national and international markets/business areas.
