Integrated Management Policy

Têxteis Penedo S.A. believes the following basic guidelines are essential to its management activity:

  1. To implement the best management practices, to continuously monitor the processes and to identify improvement opportunities in its Management System, including the Quality System implemented under NP EN ISO 9001, the Research, Development and Innovation, according to NP4457 and the STeP (Sustainable Textile Production) requirements, managing its processes, products, projects and resources in compliance with the requirements of the clients and statutory and regulatory demands to increase customer satisfaction and monitor market needs, while encouraging the sustainability of its operations and the value chain.
  2. To remain a benchmark in the Home textiles, Hotel and Catering and Decoration markets and to develop new business areas by incorporating new materials, developing high-quality value and offering innovative products that surpass customer and client expectations.
  3. To seek out new technological solutions in terms of the product and the processes in partnership with clients, suppliers, Scientific and Technological System entities (STS), and other entities that can lead to sustainable development.
  4. To identify and/or anticipate the needs of clients, consumers and partners and to help create solutions, create value and stimulate the market leadership of the products and pioneering activities;
  5. To bolster the fame of the company and its brands with a constant evolution of proposals in response to new market trends;
  6. To encourage the culture of innovation through an environment that fosters creativity, daring, critical spirit and initiative by its staff, encouraging teamwork among all employees and partners.
  7. To encourage employee health and safety at work in a safe and healthy environment, in compliance with the safety rules, fostering the welfare of people and the safety of assets and people.
  8. To encourage social responsibility in compliance with the principles laid down by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the principles of the United Nations Organisation
  9. To comply with the legal and regulatory requirements arising from its activity, including the environmental, quality, health and safety at work and social responsibility aspects;
  10. To adopt an environmentally-friendly position with the support of its staff and partners, minimizing environmental impact and preventing pollution so as to ensure greater sustainability.
  11. To foster the continued improvement of the Management System, in an integrated perspective of satisfaction by all stakeholders.
